There has never been a better time to join acclaimed Australian artist Warren Curry on his unique Discovery Tour to Corfu, the gem of the Greek islands. Through  thirteen  years  of hosting his painting tours Warren Curry has provided expert tutelage to artists of all standards and backgrounds and has also succeeded in engendering interest and involvement in newcomers to artistic endeavour. Equally, those interested in merely enjoying the magic of the island with Warren and the art group are most welcome and often make up a proportion of the tour group. The group are treated to locations not seen by other visitors, and experiences only a seasoned resident of Corfu like Warren could introduce one to.

Accommodation in Corfu
Warren and his Tour group stay at the idyllic Levant Hotel which is perched atop Pelekas hill with 360 degree views of the Ionian Sea. Sunsets here are incredible and Tour companions enjoy sumptuous dinners together in the stylish dining room or on the Sunset Terrace where they witness those magical sunsets. Generous breakfasts are a morning treat and each room is beautifully appointed with its own balcony, so at the end of each day having dined in the company of Tour companions one can retire in spacious comfort. One might choose to take a dip in the swimming pool, laze on a sun lounger in the garden, or spend time chatting in the café bar on a free day. The hotel has internet access in each room for the use of guests.

Through Warren’s long history of facilitating Corfu Discovery Tours he has not only attracted keen artists and those exploring the possibility of developing artistic skills but has regularly included a number of tour members just for the magic of the Corfu experience, enhanced by Warren’s extensive insiders knowledge and familiarity with the island.

Between the stylish comfort of the hotel, ease of movement in the Tour groups own bus, the variety of villages and beaches visited, cruising, historic sites,leisurely lunches in tavernas with extraordinary views, good company and friendships made, the evening in Corfu town and free days which are set to give time for artists and non-artists to rest up or pursue other interests for the day there is guarantee  of a perfect holiday for both artists and adventurers.

Artists are advised by Warren of equipment to bring along and we will also call in to an excellent art shop in Corfu Town on the first day for any extras. 

Optional extras
One day cruise to the island of Paxos and mainland port of Parga- cost approx.: 40 euros per person.  Most tour members take this cruise and have a lovely time. A fascinating one day tour to Albania-cost approx.: 60euros person. This price includes your ferry cruise, bus tour and lunch. Each year a group head off on this trip and return that night bursting with stories of sites seen and experiences had.

Price per person (excluding air fares) - 2,500 euros
This includes:

• Twin share accommodation at the Levant Hotel Pelekas (limited single supplement available).
• All meals- breakfast, picnic lunches, and evening dinner in the stylish dining room or on the magnificent Sunset Terrace.
• All group transport around the island for painting excursions and sightseeing.
• Painting tutelage, coaching and critique sessions by Warren Curry.
• Price does not include travel to and from Corfu, personal spending, beverages and tips.

This includes:

• Economy class air travel from Melbourne/Sydney.  (Flying with Thai or Emirates with connecting flight from Athens to Corfu with Aegean Airlines).

• All meals-breakfast, picnic  lunches, and evening dinner in the stylish dining room or on the magnificent Sunset Terrace.
• All group transport around the island for painting excursion and sightseeing.

• All transfers including departure taxes at Melbourne, Sydney, Athens.
• Price does not include personal spending, beverages or tips.

Tour Dates
Flying from Australia 9th May 2012 - Holiday begins in Corfu 10th May - Return flight departs 24th May.

You are required to lodge a $500 (Australian dollars) deposit with the travel agent to confirm your place on the tour, with the balance of monies due 45 days prior to departure. Parthenon Travel can assist with travel insurance.
Your passport must be current and should not expire within three months of travel.
